So I've been trying to figure out what the perfect amount of each stat is to maximize my DPS. Being hit capped is important, and I think the cap in 5.0 is 15%. Correct me if I'm wrong. But then does it go mastery>haste>crit or haste>mastery>crit? how much haste? how much mastery? how much crit?

Depends on your spec. I suggest trying a
guide
, if EJ doesn't get you what you need.
Edit: Whoops, ignore that guide. I thought I was in the Rogue forum.

Depends on which spec. Read a guide they do tell you the stat weights. I dont even think that noxxic and icy-veins are actually doing it wrong what concerns stat weights. That means any kind of research would have told you that :P
If you are a balance druid: sorry i've got no frigging clue.
If you are a guardian druid: I believe there are different ways of gearing but I am not the one to ask.
If you are a restro druid you wouldn't need hit so i dont think you are:)
If you are a feral druid however the stat prio told by simcraft is:
Mastery>Crit>Hit/Exp>>>>Haste
However in a raid scenario you are most likely better off going Mastery>Hit/Exp>Crit>>>>Haste
That is because it will allow you to for example get 5 combo points and do a better fero bite (damage per energy) to refresh rip on the last tick in stead of having to refresh it at 4 combo points since there is the possibility to miss.
If you are going with the dream of cenarius talent it is very very important to cap hit/exp and you may even want to take some in stead of mastery.
Short answer: Mastery all the way. Cap hit/exp if you feel like it. Then crit.
Try to get as little haste as possible in 99% of situations.
The only fight where I could see haste being a nice stat would be the AoE fest that is wind lord mel jarak. Heart of the wild and haste/crit should kick arse there.

Assuming that he has at least some idea of what he is talking about, it is probably safe to assume he is asking regarding Balance since he cited 15% as hit cap.

I agree OP was asking about Balance, but as this thread has had useful feral contribution, a question...
Mastery only effects bleeds right? Which is basically single target only fights yeah?
If it's trash, or 5 mans, a set of gear that was geared toward crit and haste for swipe spamming would out=perform a similar ilevel mastery dominated set?
Right?

Yes for haste/crit outperforms mastery on constant aoe damage. (Heart of the wild hurricane boosts that by a LOT)
No for ONLY single target fights. Trash also is affected by mastery. Quite nice design actaully to not make us be completely cheated out of aoe damage by gearing for our best stat.
(Ps sorry for derailing thread)
