So, Mages are what Ghostcrawler plays, Shadow is overpowered and Moonkins are instant win. You are not here to discuss Retribution. You are just randomly crying.

If we consider WoW's classes, there are 11, totalling 34 (because of quadrispec druid) specs. 5 tanks reduce that to 29 possible specs. However...
- Holy Priests were never close to viable outside 5v5.
- Triple DPS classes rarelly have all 3 specs actually PvP viable. 2 at most, 1 usually being the case.
Cutting those down (Rogue, Warlock, Mage, Hunter) and assuming best case scenario (2 viable specs per), that's -4, or a total of 25 arena specs.
That would mean that anything along the line of 4% would be the sweet spot. Consider, however, that healers are on a scale of their own. As you can see in

So, a fair distribution of 4% is just unreasonable to even reason with. However, some conclusions can be drawn.
How to interpret that data:
The first number is the % of players above 2200rating. The second is the total number of players for that spec. This means that having a low score on the first column but a very high score on the second may not mean the class is underpowered; just that it's played by a lot of people, and likelly not all of them are good enough to cut it to 2200. Example: Beastmastery is basically broken at the moment, but only has a 9% representation there. Why? Because it has 5.1% of the global % of players, which is the third highest. The role is super powerful, but it still requires some mastery of your class and all other classes to reach 2200+.

->Frost and Shadow are pretty powerful, especially Frost.
->Healers are dominated by Shamans and Paladins, with Monks and Priests eating dust, and druids shaking to compete.
With that out of the way, do you want to actually focus on Paladins without role-calling other classes with baseless assumptions? Discuss how Retribution will actually suffer and what could be done about it. Stop calling specs OP without any data but your (horribly out of place) assumptions. Do you expect to be taken seriously claiming something with 0.9% representation in the 3v3 bracket is overpowered?
