Skinning in MOP-Would love if Blizz made it a 1x group skinning function/action.

Skinning in MOP - so irritating when kill a skinnable mob & some1 else comes swooping in to steal some skins from what I've just killed.
Thinking this skinning should be (but obviously isn't) locked so that only the person that killed the animal/beast should be able to skin it.
This is really frustrating, especially when doing those dailies, and I'm killing mobs of tigers, turtles or fatty goats & since I can only skin 1 at a time, it gives some of the skinning thieves I've come across time to stand next to me & steal some of my skins once I've collected the group loot.
I truly wish that Blizz could/would implement for Skinners the same type of ability that we now have when picking up a mob of loot. Just click on 1 and collect all loot, but would be a click on 1x corpse to skin but it would skin entire mob of corpses at once. This would in turn speed up and hopefully make it less likely to lose some skins to these skinning scavengers.
Wondering how my fellow skinners feel about something such as this.

But no, I agree with you. This is something I thought about when I was leveling my Leatherworker up after MoP - I just AoE looted everything, now all these mobs are open for skinning... hope no one else is around - and it is annoying when someone starts skinning mobs you've killed and are in the process of skinning yourself.
But this:

is a bad idea. I get so many skins from non-skinners killing mobs, and it would suck to have them locked because I didn't kill them, even though the other person isn't going to skin it.
Short of making Skinning AoE, it would be nice if we could hold a button, say Alt, when looting and it turns off the AoE aspect, so us skinners can loot one mob at a time when we are skinning.

I'm sure was in jest, but most certainly not on equal par with taking the time to kill a mob then skin what is rightfully yours to get leather drops on.
As for the "locking" I touched on, I vaguely remember post Cata release when killing countless Tol Barad Spiders etc. that no one was able to swipe my skins, but I was able to skin other corpses people left behind that they took their applicable dropped loot but since they weren't skinners the skinnable corpse was left to whatever skinner was lucky enough to be on the scene to then skin for there own.

i would just love to be able to get XP from skinning at any level, just like with herbalism, etc.

the solution i think of is similar to the lockt he corpses. however do not make it a permanent lock. give the looter like say a minute or 2 to skin the corpses. if he doesnt then the skin becomes open skinning for any skinners that perchance by the skin.
the problem with aoe skinning is that it would make AoE mob farming for skinning so much more effective to the point that skins would be almost worthless because its so easy to get. Though an idea if they were to go with AoE skinning. maybe increase the time taken, or make it a queueing system. you can start the skin and lets say there are 10 corpses. instead of 2 seconds each make it 20 seconds for all of them. or a way that it will auto queue all skins in range. so as soon as one is done and looted the game will automatically jump to the next one. Though i would expect being able to queue prospects/DE/mills to happen before that type of skinning queue to happen.
the best option i think would be to do the 1-2 minute lock on corpses.

I understand that, but there are many people killing same mobs for same quests that don't have skinning. The few i lose to thieves are usually less than the ones I find from other non-skinners.

I'm perfectly fine with how skinning works now. Yes, it is irritating when you kill a big group and someone else comes to steal your work. It's also irritating when I'm fighting a mob for a node and someone swoops down and takes the node I am standing on while I'm in combat. No matter what it's impossible to make the game completely jerk proof, and trying would make things more complicated that need be.
