The cost and level requirement of Epic flying has never been adjusted, as Blizzard considers it a luxury, so I wouldn't place any bets on getting a better deal on it in MoP.
I also can't recall that mount training costs have been reduced every expansion. Unless I'm mistaken, the only reason the price has been lowered in the past, was because the level requirement on riding training was lowered, and the price needed to be adjusted accordingly.

Doubtful they will change the price. Consider this, quest rewards will give a lot more gold and vendor trash will sell for a lot more... so in real terms, the price is going down.

The only time riding skill prices have been explicitly reduced by Blizzard has been when level requirements changed. Apprentice and Journeymen riding skills used to be learned at levels 40 and 60, respectively. Blizzard then changed it to levels 20 and 40. With that came a price adjustment. It would have been unrealistic to expect a level 40 to come up with the 900g for Journeymen riding.
Other than that the only price adjustment came when Blizzard made reputation discounts. This wasn't explicitly for the riding skills though. That was merely a positive side-effect of a larger change.
That said, I wouldn't expect any changes to the price model of the riding skills with MoP.

Doubt this will ever be dropped, since it's not a 'necessary' skill to get around.

To be fair it got "cheaper" due to it accessibility of reputation riding trainers (especially of the flight variety)

That's just a by product of something else, and not specifically a mount cost reduction.

Having epic flying during BC was just that, it was epic.Having 5k gold during those days was pretty rare for most, and having 20k was godly. Nowadays, I'm sitting at just over a couple hundred thousand gold, which isn't very much, considering several people I know have a couple hundred million. I'd imagine in MoP that gold is going to be so outrageous that they may have to raise the gold cap again.
They won't reduce epic flying costs; I'm sure of it.

I'm still pretty sure they took that into consideration before adding trainers tied to factions. =). Could've easily been non-factioned.

Someone brings this up every few months, but personally I think that if you can't manage to raise 5k gold for your main character's flying, you're doing something very wrong. It was once a large sum, but with today's inflation it's peanuts.
As others have said, it's so easy to get gold these days. I have over 100k in the bank and I don't grind gold or play the AH, but pretty much only list things for sale when my bank alt's bags are completely full.

I don't see a reason to increase or decrease it at this point. It's more or less fine.
I'm surprised people haven't mentioned much about Master Riding...now THAT is one hell of a luxury.
(Edit: On a side note, SoR 80s got Epic Flying for free. Seems they really do just want people to have it, I suppose.)
