Is there a website that lists all the shorthand ways to put things in the auto gratz. The only one I know is "%n" adds the players name. I would like to be able to add the name of the achievement to the gratz. Does anyone know how to do that?

Actuallly, it should go in UI and Macros, but the addon author is the best source for this.

I've always found Gratz add-ons to be a nuisance. In a large guild, they add a lot of spam. Especially on raid nights when people are clearing new content. Each new achieve gets 25 gratz in a row from someone with an add-on. And when it's automatic, it's the same as not saying anything at all, IMO- you're not taking the time to congratulate the person, or paying attention to what's going on.

This is my opinion on auto-gratz addons. What I would do is macro it, then click the macro when it was appropriate.

I agree. If you're not taking the 1.5 seconds it takes to say "Gratz" or the 2 seconds it takes to say "Congratulations", you obviously don't really care all that much. So why bother?

On the other hand if you want to get into coding addons, this is a great introduction to event listening. Just don't enable it while your guildies are doing progress raids.
I remember doing this during the start of WLK and Naxx raids. Fun times.

A guild got a realm first achievement which spams everywhere (obviously) and a dude near me in Stormwind sent a spam that probably got him disconnected into SAY, congratulating every one of them.
