Hyena will gives you an extra 9% damage on Chimera and Steady.
Ravager will gives you an extra 4% on Steady, Wild Quiver and Auto-Shot
Raptor will gives you an extra 3-5%on Steady, Wild Quiver and Auto-Shot
Wind Serpent/Dragonhawk will gives you an extra 8% to Chimera, Serpent Sting and Arcane Shot.
So do test on dummy to see where you damage come from the most and choose the good one.

Hunters should be unwilling to use Tranquilizing Shot if there is a Druid that isn't your MT present since Tranq Shot is a steaming pile of #$%^ compared to Soothe.

Is there a reason why Resto/Boomkins can't put up stacks of Faerie Fire to benefit the raid? I've always wondered if there's something I've missed here. It's 3 GCD's at the beginning of the fight, and then 1 every 5 minutes. Seems like a decent trade in to help the raid if you don't have a prot pally. Also, Ravagers should be used if you have nobody providing 4% phys damage debuff.
You make a good point.
I usually apply Faerie Fire when I can as a Resto though...so...

Gotta note that
Rogues
have a reliable enrage remover too.
Tranq shot is utterly retarded now.

Well, rogue have to spend energy too, so they won't use it for same reason than us.

20 Energy = 2 seconds
35 Focus = 8.75 seconds
edit: This of course ignores #$%^ like Hunter minimum range, flight time of Tranq Shot, etc.

Well the issues I'm trying to point out is we spend more focus than they have to spend energy, for one.
For another, Shiv automatically applies poison, which is something Rogues rely on to a degree. Poison equals damage.
Finally, it awards a combo point, so it doesn't hurt their rotation quite as much.
In comparison Tranq Shot only has one real thing that outshines Shiv, and that is the Magic Dispel attached to it (which also is in general inferior to other forms of magic dispel).

First, it is 20 energy + 10x weapon speed energy. So it range between 35 and 40.
Second, that doesnt remove my point. Rogues won't want to use it more than hunters because it means a lose of DPS.
EDIT: @Intereset. I agree, but it still does less than their main attack. So in their rogue mind, it means a lose of DPS and they are more stubborn than hunters about it. And for fight like LK, they can't run back and forth between LK and the mobs, so hunter is better for that.

A fair enough point. But in the general sense, Shiv is still better (yes I actually do play both classes).

Anyway, how this thread derailed from MM pet to Dispelling rage?
EDIT: Oh yeah, moonkin armor debuff.

I thought they removed the missile portion of tranq shot and silencing shot to make it's effect immediate, but it's possible I'm remember wrong. I hate pooling focus just to de-enrage the adds in LK and Saviana Ragefire in Ruby Sanctum...but it's an ability we have that will benefit the raid and it's irresponsible of me not do it.

It's equally irresponsible to ask you to give up 8 seconds worth of resources when a Druid can do it for one GCD without losing Moonkin Form without flight time and at a fraction of the cost.

No Moonkins raiding in my guild since 4.0.1 hit so I don't have that luxury. Even if we did have one, I really only trust those sorts of things to myself. I've been burned leaving Tranq Shot up to other hunters and I'm loathe to trust a Druid with it. I'd love to see the focus reduced/removed from Tranq Shot, but that will effect PvP so I doubt that happens.

They really ought to remove it and put a cooldown on it again. I liked it better that way.
