I found a player that I suspected of being a bot who was constantly undercutting my Gems and Scrolls on the AH, always by 1 copper and within a few minutes of me posting my auctions. He was a lv1 lock with a stupid name.
I reported to a GM and was told that they would be looked into, the next day they were gone from the AH (and my friends list) only to be replaced by another lv1 lock with another stupid name that was again undercutting my auctions by 1 copper within a few mins.
I think they're always going to be there... just keep reporting them and hopefully they'll get banned.

How smart are the bots? If you list your scrolls for next to nothing, will they post theirs still? If so, buy up all their scrolls, cancel your auctions, and sell all of them yourself.
Note: I doubt they're that dumb, they probably have a price they will buy at, but it's worth a shot ;)

I'm guessing you ran into a very determined auction house player and not a bot. I'm judging this from the assumption that if it was a bot your auctions would be undercut within maybe 30 seconds or so. Being undercut within 5 mins is a player who is making sure he drives out his competition and to ensure his good sell.

These guys seem like bots but they aren't,they are using a add-on by the name of (I'm 99.99%) of QuickAuctions,it literally undercuts the person for 1 copper. I've had this problem on several servers getting so bad too the point where I can't even make any profit.

GMs can and will ban AH manipulators if they are monopolizing whole categories like say all the Dusts or all the Cloth, as long as they know its going on,. Blizzard considers AH monopoly to be something that lessens the fun of certain aspects of the game.

Strangely, Blizzard considered to offer paid AH web services. Like gold selling is forbidden, except for Blizzard gold selling.

If you think he is botting, report him.
