Are cockroaches resisted to room temperature?

Herr cockaroach is the hardest damn thing on the planet to kill; you can cut off their heads, and they'll keep surviving for 30 minutes, the giant ones down south stomp you instead of you stomping them, *continue inserting random jokes about the cockroach*. If you left a roach in the freezer for a few hours I'm sure it would die, but it's entirely possible they could survive for a while even there.

False. Billions of microorganisms would survive a nuclear bomb.
The Death's Head cockroach has six brains in it's body, and can survive for
TEN MOTHER$%^&ING DAYS
after it's head has been cut off, before it starves to death.

Maybe, maybe not.
Regardless of that I think answering with "google it" - even if the question is very trivial - is very bad.
First of all, the next person who really googles it will possibly find this thread, and it's going to be very ironic if all the answers are "you should search on google", isn't it? It happened to me several times.
Second the more questions are asked and answered here (even if already answered on other websites) the more the website will grow. Those questions will be indexed by search engines and will appear in future search results, bringing in new users who maybe are interested in the website and decide to join the community.

You have a roach crawling around in your freezer... gross. You should probably throw all that food out, and not use it again until you're sure the roach is dead. And if you're throwing all the food out anyways, you should go ahead and use a bug bomb in it or something...

No. He should just google it. If he absolutely needs to ask trivial questions, he should do it in the Recycle Bin.
As for expanding our 'user base', well... I don't know if more people would be brought in by questions about cockroaches, or if more people would be apt to stay because we are talking about really interesting things, instead of the cold resistancy of bugs.
