My 2nd toon I leveled to 80, I started in Borean Tundra until completing
this
quest, for the reward. Then I moved to the Fjord. I enjoyed that maneuver.

Why not both? If you're diligent about quests you can avoid leveling in ICC entirely.

Do this, but do BT first. The more you level in the early zones the faster you'll hit 80 the more money you'll be getting from quests once you reach max level.
I always do both on my characters.

Could always go back and forth; start in Warsong/Valiance, complete those quests, then head to the Fjord, and so on and so forth.

I would recommend HF. But thats a personal preferance i guess. I don't like the fact that there seems to be a lot of close quarters mobs in BT. HF mobs seem to be more spread out and if your going at 68 helps keep some of the unwanted agro pulls down.

I liked HF to start with. As soon as I leveled to 69 / 70, I went to BT and had a much easier time with the first few quests that you start with. Seemed easier that way than when I started in BT on my main.

I like to do BT, then jump over to Howling fjord cause once youre in all the gear from BT its so easy to knock those quests out. then I like to head over to dragonblight until I finish up veteran of the wrath gate, followed by some grizzly hills, Zuldrak, Storm peaks, and finish up in icecrown

If you enjoy good visual stimulation and high-spirited fun, go for the Howling Fjord.
If you'd like to torment yourself, go for the Borean Tundra.

tundra -> dragonblight -> grizzly hills -> zul'drak
Do all the quests in each zone and the occasional instance and you will hit 80 in no time. Assuming you start northrend at 70

There are many quests that are fun in each of these zones.

I find Howling Fjord to be slightly easier for the 68-70 range, but that's just me.
On my Priest and Shaman I went to HF first, completed the quest achievement there, then moved to Borean Tundra and did the same. I think I was 73 or 74 by the time I was finished with BT.
I managed to make it to level 80 by following HF>BT>Dragonblight>Grizzly Hills>Zul'Drak, completing each quest achievement in each zone... I think I might have done a couple of quests in Sholozar to finish the ding to 80. You might have to do a little more since I might have had the heirloom shoulders at the time... don't remember though.
The quests are easy and give plenty of experience, plus you get to save the higher level zones for later which will offer even
more
money since you're level 80.
Great way to get your epic flying.
