To get Geologist's Ledger - Serevite and Geologist's Ledger - Draconium you need to have learned the normal deposit and each of Rich, Seam, Hardened, Molten, Primal, Titan-Touched, Infurious, and Metamorphic for that mineral type.

To get the Geologist's Ledger - Overloaded Elements you need to have each of Hardened, Molten, Primal, Titan, Infurious, and Metamorphic Overload learned.

Final edit: I finally got it. I am now convinced - based on other comments and my own experience - that the Heated Ore Sample and Unyielding Stone Chunk are completely independent from the Elementally Charged Stone, despite sharing an entry in the mining journal. The method I outlined below works for getting Heated Ore Sample and Unyielding Stone Chunk, but not for Elementally Charged Stone - for this you need to first get all of your Iridescent Ore Fragments and Iridescent Ore for the week, and then keep going and eventually you will get the Elementally Charged Stone from a finesse proc (it took me almost 100 nodes and many finesse/perception procs to get it after I looted Iridescent Ore). I personally avoided all Primal, Molten, and Hardened nodes in case the 3 stones shared a weekly cap or something (these nodes are the ones that drop the heater ore/unyielding chunk), but I don't know for sure if that is necessary.

Edit: about 8 weeks in and my method below still works every week, but I have not managed to loot the charged stone...always heated ore or unyielding stone. I have heard of people getting the charged stone off finesse (or maybe perception?) procs on any kind of node.

There are three elemental knowledge items that seem very RNG - Elementally Charged Stone (which is for this achievement), Heated Ore Sample, and Unyielding Stone Chunk.

Various comments have speculated that these have a weekly or character cap. And despite sharing an entry in the mining journal, you MUST get the Elementally Charged Stone for achievement credit.

My personal experience has been that I get one of the elemental items in my first 2-3 elemental nodes per week, and then none. And it's a toss up which one you get - week 1 I got a Heated, week 2 I got another Heated, and this week I got a Heated AND an Unyielding in the SAME NODE (second node of the week). Note that every week I did hundreds of nodes trying to farm this achievement and saw none of these elemental knowledge items after the first few nodes.

I looted my Elementally Charged Stone from a plain serevite mining node. I only looted plain serevite and draconium, rich nodes, and titan-touched while trying to find it. Last week I looted a Unyielding Stone Chunk from a primal node so I avoided them this week.

I honestly do not know what i am doing wrong. I just can't loot the elementally charged stone. I try with 3 miners every week. I even followed the advice to only mine the primal and serveit ones but i never get anything out of the serevit nodes. Like i can farm serveit/rich serevite nodes for HOURS and i dont get any items from them.

Man the gather profession achievements suck and are not fun at all.

EDIT 2:

I finally got it and it was indeed from a serevite node. Just farm serevite nodes and ignore the hardened, molten and primal ones. My mistake was to not ignore the primal ones.

Just got elementally charged stone with my regular 100/100 miner, over 150 skill point into talent trees. I got it in 10 minutes after getting epic weekly ore. I guess it's just luck and no anyhow connected to charecter skills, iridescent ore cap. Just drop rare is very low and people are looking for excuses for their luck.

So i suggest farming it with a main miner char, who got 40 points into no dismount on orecollecting to save some time

Ok after trying to get the Elementally Charged Stone since the beginning of the patch on 3 alts I was finally able to get it today.

What NOT to do:
Hardened Serevite Deposit - they drop Unyielding Stone Chunk.
Molten Serevite Deposit - they drop Heated Ore Sample.
Primal Serevite Deposit - they drop Heated Ore Sample.

What TO do:
Farm all the other nodes until you loot Iridescent Ore (this seems to be the requirement in order to loot Elementally Charged Stone).
Then farm Serevite Deposit / Rich Serevite Deposit / Titan-Touched Serevite Deposit (I got Elementally Charged Stone in a couple of nodes after looting Iridescent Ore in a Rich Serevite Deposit).

Additional info:
How to get Iridescent Ore - you need to loot 5x Iridescent Ore Fragments and then you can loot Iridescent Ore from ANY node but avoid the ones mentioned above.
I had WM OFF.
I was max level (70) and I only had max level Dragon Isles mining (100), no specialization no equipment no flask.
I did not use Overload Elemental Deposit on the node.

This part of the achievement was a pain in the a## and I hope this comment helps you guys out and saves time!

Just a small feedback from my journey on getting Elementally Charged Stone, i also did what most comments said.
Avoided the Hardened Serevite Deposit, Molten Serevite Deposit, Primal Serevite Deposit.
Eventualy after 3 days of few hours farming the Elementally Charged Stone dropped from Serevite Deposit.
Afterwards i decided to mine couple of Hardened Serevite Deposit, Molten Serevite Deposit, Primal Serevite Deposit and i got the Heated Ore Sample in the same reset.
Conculsion, i dont belive they affect eachother in any way whatsoever. its just pure rng and luck.

with the newest patch i got both Elementally Charged Stone (from an average serevite node) and Unyielding Stone Chunk (2 of them actually, from a primal node) within five minutes of one another, whereas previously i only could get one per week! good luck farming!

As everyone is saying. To get the 'Geologist's Ledger - Serevite' part of the Achievement
1. Wait until Realm reset
2. Only mine the plain old 'Serevite nodes'. Thats it. Avoid all other nodes.
3. Eventually you will have 5 Iridescent Ore Fragments
4. Then even more eventually the Iridescent Ore will come out
5. Then keep mining Serevite nodes for the Elementally-Charged Stone
6. This part of the Achievement will pop automatically
7. I kept the 5 Iridescent Org Fragments & Iridescent Ore in my bag just in case
8. As I was also looking for Djaradin Cache's for an Engineering recipe I competed this entirely in The Waking Shores
9. It took several hours with household interruptions!
10. I am maxxed out on all Mining Specialisations
