When doing the Time Rifts at the top of each hour there will be orbs that offer various buffs similar to Cobalt Assembly or Torghast. One of the buffs is something like "Fluffier Fur" and says it makes you 100% more cuddly. Pick that option if you get it, and return to Soridormi. She'll have a dialogue option asking if she can pet you. Click yes and you'll get the achieve.

I got my achievement during the A.Z.E.R.O.T.H time rift (ended with King Mechagon). Gold orbs called Ulderoth Mutagen Orb (contrary to the name) spawned in the area. I clicked them until I was offered Fluffier Fur as a buff. Returned to Soridormi at 51.50, 57.06 (where you start the time rift) and clicked the option to let her pet me.

So it seems the orbs may only spawn during an event that includes "Titan Invasion" so I don't think it's achievable every Rift. Got mine today!

As a Pandaren I was very offended that Soridormi didn't find my own natural fur appealing.

Got the buff and let Soridormi pet me, but no achieve and I lost my buff.

I really do not know what am I doing wrong, but I've been looking for these orb for at least 7 time rifts and did not see a single one. Or a lot of people have to be killing stuff in order to be spawned?

Edit: 9/23/23 Was able to find orbs in a bigger group, maybe it is true that not all rifts spawn them. They have good visibility and in 40 man group they are plenty so dw. I was able to collect like 5 buffs until I found the fluffy buff and then there were plenty more orbs if you still weren't lucky.

Once you've come back to Soridormi with the buff, this is the dialogue you get:

! It's good to... see...

<Soridormi looks at you and blinks hard. She seems to have noticed the you obtained from an Ulderoth Mutagen Orb.>

I'm sorry, are you covered in fluffy fur? The type of soft, cuddly fur that an adorable pet or helpless small creature might have?

<Soridormi thinks carefully about her next words.>

Might I... if it isn't too much of an imposition... request to... pet you?

(After you've accepted her request)
<A wave of relief washes over the Soridormi's face. She proceeds to pet the fur on your neck and back.>

And you say you evolved this fur from a Titan mutation? Those Titans really have some good ideas, you know. I think I'd enjoy spending some time in Ulderoth, if it didn't violate everything my flight stood for.

Easy Solo Achievement at Level 70 Dragonflight & Beyond... Titan Invasion should be up.

The Mutagen Orbs which may contain Fluffier Fur (Cuddliness increased by 100%) drop from the large Titan Keepers (Freya) that tend to wander the edge of the Reservoir.

Choose Fluffier Fur then head to Soridormi and get her to pet you for the achievement.

Having just gotten this achievement, there's a few bits I learned to look out for.

The orbs (Ulderoth Mutagen Orbs) will only spawn when the Time Rift includes Titan invaders. I've seen them drop from the titan guardians primarily, but I think some may have dropped from other Ulderoth beasts.

You aren't guaranteed to see Fluffier Fur on your first orb, it might take a couple. Once you've got it, complete the Time Rift as normal and return to Sordormi. You'll need to speak with her and choose either of the two new options ("Sure!" or "Please don't pet me.")
